Biography
Nivedita Sahu received her Ph.D. degree on Marine Algal Biotechnology from the Dept. of Botany, University of Delhi in 2004. She has expertise in algal biology, cultivation, and algal polysaccharides and her research area of interest is Applied Phycology and Industrial Microbiology. She is currently working as Principal Scientist at CSIR-Indian Institute of Chemical Technology in algae-based membrane integrated technology for water and wastewater treatment. To her credits, she has 01 Patent, 01 Book, 04 Book Chapters,10 prestigious awards and 25 research papers published in various journals.
S. Sridhar is a Chemical Engineer from College of Technology, Osmania University, Hyderabad, who has been working as a Scientist in Membrane Separation Processes at the CSIR- IICT, Hyderabad for the past 24 years. He has developed several technologies for chemical industries besides contributing immensely to rural welfare through water purification projects and academic development via \extensive HRD and laboratory development in several schools and colleges. Dr. Sridhar has published 162 research papers in reputed international journals which are widely cited by peers more than 9000 times in high-impact journals with an h-index of 47. He has 12 foreign patents to his credit besides 40 Book Chapters and 200 papers in various symposia/conference proceedings. Dr. Sridhar has trained 400 B.Tech./M.Tech & M.Sc. students from different universities and institutes for project work apart from guiding 8 scholars for Ph.D. Dr. Sridhar’s students have been awarded 50 prizes for meritorious work and the best oral paper/poster presentation made under his guidance in various conferences/symposia.
