    Biography

    Piyali Basak is currently the Director of the School of Bioscience and Engineering in Jadavpur University, Kolkata India. She authored more than 70 research and review articles in several international journals and several book chapters. Her research articles have reached 1000 plus citations worldwide. She has got various research awards throughout her career. She is currently working on nano-bio materials, and polymer nanocomposites for various applications like drug delivery, wound healing, antimicrobial coatings over surgical instruments, and nano-therapeutics. Dr. Basak is also involved in works related to environmental studies, related to dye degradation and natural product extract for therapeutic uses.

    Pratik Das did his Masters of Engineering from the School of Bioscience and Engineering. Currently, Mr. Das is pursuing his Ph.D. from Jadavpur University. He is working in the field of nano-biomaterials and their biomedical application. He is currently continuing his research at the School of Bioscience and Engineering. He has authored or co-authored more than 17 international research and review articles in SCI and Scopus-indexed journals. The current research interest of Mr. Das includes Green Synthesis of Silver nanoparticles, Computational Biology, Biomaterials and their application in the Biomedical Industry, and Synthesis and application of Bio-derived carbon Dots. His special interest involves the fabrication of wound-healing products.

    Suvendu Manna did his Ph.D. from Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur in 2015. Currently, he is an assistant professor in University of Petroleum and Energy Studies Dehradun. Dr. Manna is an expert in biomaterials, wastewater remediation, environmental microbiology, and nanomaterials research. Dr. Manna has authored and co-authored 50+ research and review articles published in SCI indexed peer-reviewed journals. He edited 6 international books and wrote one reference book. Dr. Manna also serving as a reviewers for many reputed international journals.

    Tridib Kumar Sinha is an Assistant Professor in the Dept. of Applied Sciences (Chemistry), University of Petroleum and Energy Studies, Dehradun, India. Priorly, he was a Research Professor (postdoc) in Gyeongsang National University (GNU), South Korea (2017 – 2021). He pursued his PhD from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur in 2016. Before Ph.D., he was a Research Chemist (medicinal synthesis) in a contract research organization (2008-2010), India. In brief, Dr. Sinha is a Materials Chemist who designs and develops environmentally benign materials particularly for the sustainable energy and environment. He has published 45+ research articles in SCI indexed peer-reviewed journals.
