    Biography

    Dr. Albert (Al) Marcella, Ph.D., CISA, CISM, President of Business Automation Consultants (BAC) LLC, is an internationally recognized public speaker, researcher, IT consultant, and workshop and seminar leader with 46 years of experience in IT audit, risk management, IT security, and assessing internal controls, having authored numerous articles and 30 books on various IT, audit, and security related subjects. Dr. Marcella’s clients include organizations in financial services, IT, banking, petrol-chemical, transportation, services industry, public utilities, telecommunications, and departments of government and nonprofits. Dr. Marcella is also a tenured, full-time professor at Webster University, teaching at the Walker School of Business.

    Research conducted by Dr. Marcella on unmanned aircraft systems, cyber extortion, workplace violence, personal privacy, electronic stored information, privacy risk, cyber forensics, disaster and incident management planning, the Internet of Things, ethics, and astrophotography has been published in the ISACA Journal, Disaster Recovery Journal, Journal of Forensic & Investigative Accounting, EDPACS, ISSA Journal, Continuity Insights, Internal Auditor Magazine and the Astronomical League’s Reflector Magazine. Dr. Marcella’s fourth book on cyber forensics, “Cyber Forensics: Examining Emerging and Hybrid Technologies,” a collaborative effort written with a team of six co-authors, was published by CRC Press in 2021.

    Dr. Marcella holds a B.S. degree in Management, a B.S. degree in Information Technology Management, an M.B.A. with a concentration in Finance, and a Ph.D. in Management/Information Technology Management. Dr. Marcella is a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), and a Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), and holds an ISACA Cybersecurity Certificate.

    Dr. Marcella is the 2016 recipient of the Information Systems Security Association’s Security Professional of the Year award and recipient of the Institute of Internal Auditors Leon R. Radde Educator of the Year 2000 award and has been recognized by the Institute of Internal Auditors as a Distinguished Adjunct Faculty Member. Dr. Marcella has taught IT audit seminar courses for the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) and the Information Systems Audit and Control Association (ISACA).

    Brian Moore is a passionate Certified K-8 General Education Teacher with over 20 years of experience developing and implementing diverse curriculums covering a wide range of subjects. Highly skilled at motivating students through positive encouragement and reinforcement of concepts via interactive classroom instruction and observation. Moore is successful in helping students develop strong literacy, numeracy, social and learning skills.

    Moore has valuable experience in classroom administration, professional development, and project planning in one of Phoenix Arizona’s largest Unified School Districts. Prior to the classroom, Moore was the site director for the Scottsdale/Paradise Valley (AZ) YMCA’s Before and After School Program.

    Equipped with extensive background in versatile education environments, a student-centric instructor, academic facilitator and motivational coach, Moore is well-versed in classroom and online technologies.

    Moore received both his Bachelor of Arts and Master of Education: Educational Leadership from Northern Arizona University - Flagstaff, Arizona, and holds Certifications: Standard Professional Elementary Education, K-8 and Pre-K-12 Principal, and the Endorsement: Structured English Instruction, K-12.

    Madeline Parisi, M.Ad.Ed., Principal, founded Madeline Parisi & Associates LLC (MPA) in 2013, an international organization providing business training content and training material, after a distinguished career working with professional associations. Together with a pool of subject matter experts, MPA provides business training materials, in-house and virtual training, white-label writing services, and professional certification training and certification exam question development services.

    Parisi is a recognized adult education content developer with a 30-plus year career in business training and professional development serving finance, legal, and IT audit, IT security, and risk management professionals.

    Parisi holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminology from the University of Illinois, Chicago and a Master of Adult Education from National Louis University, Wheeling, Illinois. Parisi also holds certificates in Volunteer Management from Harper College, Palatine, Illinois and additional certificates in Organizational Development, Lean Six Sigma, and Project Management. Parisi is the author of several columns and articles published in various trade publications and along with Dr. Albert Marcella is the co-author of the white paper “Assessing, Managing and Mitigating Workplace Violence: Active Shooter Threat.”
