    Biography

    Oswin Kakumanu is currently the PMO Delivery Lead (South Island) for the Integration and Delivery Subfunction within the Data & Digital Business Unit of Health New Zealand. He also serves as the PMO Manager for the Digital Transformation Programme of the New Dunedin Hospital. With 25 years of international experience in various P3M management roles, Oswin has built the capabilities of over 3,000 professionals in countries such as New Zealand, Australia, United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Bahrain, and Oman in diverse management disciplines, including portfolio, programme, project, PMO, business case, change, and agile management. He worked with organizations such as Deloitte, Accenture, Novartis, and Booz Allen Hamilton.

    Oswin is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and Program Management Professional (PgMP) from the Project Management Institute (PMI), USA. He holds PRINCE2, MSP, MoP, M_o_R, and P3O practitioner certifications from Axelos. Additionally, Oswin is an Agile Project Management (Agile PM) certified professional, and holds Praxis Practitioner, Better Business Cases Practitioner, and Change Management Practitioner certifications from APMG International.

    Oswin's academic achievements include three master's degrees: an MBA from Murdoch University, Australia; a Master of Applied Management from the Southern Institute of Technology, New Zealand; and a Master of Business (Finance) from Lincoln University, New Zealand. He has also completed a bachelor's in applied management from Otago Polytechnic, New Zealand. He is expected to complete his doctoral studies in business administration from the Otago Business School, University of Otago, in 2024.
