She holds certification in gifted and talented education and administration and supervision from Johns Hopkins University, where she was previously a faculty associate in the Graduate School of Education.

This 3rd edition of Mindsets in the Classroom is an absolute delight! In typical Mary Cay Ricci fashion, she embeds stories of real educators and real students in her discussion of the latest research, so the reader understands that promoting growth mindset in the classroom is actually doable. I especially appreciate the nuggets of wisdom she has gleaned from teaching growth mindset for more than a decade. I am excited to share this resource with educators across the country.
