    Biography

    Marco Rieckmann, Prof. Dr., is Professor of Higher Education Development at the Department of Education, University of Vechta, Germany. Additionally, he holds the position of the Presidential Advisor on Sustainability at the same institution. His expertise encompasses areas such as education for sustainable development, global learning, and the development of sustainable universities. Furthermore, he is prominently known as the lead author of UNESCO's publication 'Education for Sustainable Development Goals' (2017) and is a member of the editorial board of the journal 'Sustainability Science'.

    Rosalba Thomas Muñoz, PhD, serves as the coordinator of the Education and Research Department at the Environmental Management Center of the University of Colima, Mexico. She is a professor at the Faculty of Economics of the University of Colima and holds memberships in the National Academy of Environmental Education and the ESD-Expert Net Global Network, co-partner of UNESCO and the German Government. She is part of the National System of Researchers of Mexico, and she is actively engaged with the discourse on sustainability and environmental education for life.
