Biography
Michael DeJonge's primary teaching area is the history of Christian thought, especially from the Reformation forward. His current research focuses on the twentieth-century, German theologian Dietrich Bonhoeffer.Prof. DeJonge earned his Ph.D. in Religion from Emory University in 2009, having also undertaken doctoral work at the Freie Universität in Berlin as a Fulbright scholar and fellow of the Berlin Program for Advanced German and European Studies. He spent 2014-15 as a Volkswagen Stiftung/Andrew W. Mellon Foundation fellow at the Leibniz-Institute for European History in Mainz, Germany.
