Christopher William Herbert
I have had a lifelong interest in Art History and when I became Bishop of St Albans in 1995 was able to develop that further through reading for an M.Phil and then a PhD at the University of Leicester. I have also written a number of books about Christian Spirituality. My latest book "Foreshadowing the Reformation" explores the relationship between Art and Spirituality in the 15th century Low Countries.
