I work with ideas of embodiment and identity that frame war and conflict as lived experience in the everyday. I've published in cultural geography, anthropology, history and archaeology journals and volumes, and am Assistant Editor of the ‘Journal of Community Archaeology and Heritage’. Recently I co-edited ‘Memory, Place and Identity: Commemoration and Remembrance of War and Conflict’ (Routledge, 2016). My subjectivity as an Italian and European citizen is a recurrent theme in my work,
