Trevor Millum
I am a writer, an ex-Head of English and one time Director of the National Association for the Teaching of English. My main professional interests are: the teaching of writing, especially poetry the use of ICT in the teaching and learning of English the study of visual communication. I have written and lectured extensively about the first two, often in conjunction. The interest in visual communication begins with my PhD, published as 'Images of Woman' and continues to this day.

Biography
Teacher of and Head of English in UK, Zambia and Singapore. Advisory Teacher for English and ICT, Humberside. Education Manager for Resource Software. Director of the National Association for the Teaching of English (NATE). Writer-in-schools and performance poet alongside these proper jobs, culminating in three years work with Creative Partnerships. Now writing for educational publishers, teachers and children as well as running The Poetry Place for Teachit.Education
