Host: Stacy Scott is the Accessibility Manager for Taylor & Francis. She is responsible for making sure content and messaging is accessible not only on the Taylor & Francis website, but also on social media platforms. She is also the chair of the Publishers Accessibility Action Group for the Publishers Association where publishers and stakeholders who are interested in the topic can get together to chat about all things accessibility. Stacy was born with a visual impairment so she can bring both a professional and personal viewpoint to the subject and the importance of accessibility, particularly in Education.

Dr. Joanna E. Cannon is a Professor in the Educational and Counselling Psychology and Special Education department at the University of British Columbia. Dr. Cannon has 9 years’ experience as an itinerant and resource teacher of deaf and hard of hearing students, and is the parent of a deaf adult with disabilities. She serves as the coordinator of the Education of the Deaf and Hard of Hearing graduate program and her areas of research include literacy assessment.

Katherine C. Aquino, Ph.D., is an assistant professor in the Department of Administrative and Instructional Leadership for the School of Education at St. John’s University. Katherine’s research interests include the socio-academic transitioning into and within the higher education environment for students with disabilities and post-traditional students. Her work has been published in the Journal of Diversity in Higher Education, Journal of College Student Development, and the Journal of Postsecondary Education and Disability, among others.
